How FincaFresh works

1. List what you haveAdd your produce, quantity and price. It takes about a minute.
2. A buyer orders and pays firstThe buyer pays through M-Pesa. The money is held for your order before you harvest, so you never harvest on a promise.
3. Harvest and hand overDeliver the produce, or the buyer collects it using a one-time collection code.
4. See the gradingThe produce is checked and graded on arrival. You have 12 hours to accept it or raise a dispute.
5. Get paid to M-PesaOnce you accept, payment goes to your M-Pesa. If you do not respond within 12 hours, payment is released to you automatically.

1. Find produceBrowse what farmers have listed and order directly from them.
2. Pay through M-PesaYour payment is held for that order. The farmer knows the money is there and harvests for you.
3. Receive or collectTake delivery, or collect with your one-time code.
4. Check on arrivalThe quantity and quality received are recorded and become part of the order history.

If a farmer disagrees with the grading, they raise a dispute instead of accepting. The record made at the farm and the record made by the buyer are compared, and the evidence decides, not whoever shouts loudest.

Every step of an order is kept in a tamper-evident record (a SHA-256 hash chain). If an entry is changed later, the change shows.
